Sinsinawa Dominicans
60 Years
Sister Susan Majcen made her first profession with the School Sisters of St. Francis of Christ the King in Lemont before transferring her vows to the Sinsinawa Dominicans in 1995. She taught at St. George and St. Stephen before serving as principal of St. Thomas the Apostle School. She also served as director of religious education at Divine Infant Jesus Parish, Westchester.
Sister of the Holy Family of Nazareth
75 Years
Sister Patricia Ann (Mary Ambrose) Koschalke graduated from Alvernia High School and ministered in education and healthcare. She taught at St. Andrew the Apostle, Calumet City; St. Michael High School; and Holy Family Academy. She then served as head of the accounting department at St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital. She was administrator of Nazarethville Nursing Home and Holy Family Hospital before becoming the president and CEO of Holy Family Health Care System and then executive vice president for fund development at Resurrection Health Care. She later served in successive roles on the RHC Sponsorship Board and as a board member of Presence Health and later of Presence Health Ministries. She also served for many years in leadership roles within the congregation as local superior, provincial councilor and provincial superior.
Sister RoseMarie Machalski attended Holy Family Academy and ministered in education and provincial administration. She taught elementary school at St. Hyacinth; St. Joseph Mission; St. Camillus; St. Michael; St. Emily, Mount Prospect; St. Andrew the Apostle, Calumet City; and Our Lady of Hope, Rosemont; before serving seven years as provincial secretary, nine years as Nazarethville’s administrator and 18 years as provincial treasurer.
Sister Elizabeth Trembczynski attended Thornton Fractional High School before entering the convent and finishing her high school education at Holy Family Academy. She ministered in education and healthcare.

Sister Elizabeth Jean Ronkowski was an educator born in Chicago. She served at St. Blase, Argo; Immaculate Heart of Mary; and Nazarethville Nursing Home in Des Plaines.
School Sisters of Notre Dame
75 Years
Sister Julice Bots was born in Chicago and ministered in education and administration. She was administrator of St. Lucia School (1972-1984) and assistant treasurer for her community’s Chicago province (1984-1991) before ministering in Japan and India.
70 Years
Sister Susan Curtin was born in Chicago and ministered as a teacher and school administrator, as well as serving as an organist. She was administrator at St. Ambrose (1972-1977); St. Pius X, Stickney (1977-1982); St. Benedict, Blue Island (1983-1990); and St. Stanislaus Kostka (1990-2008).
