St. Patrick is the oldest church in Lake Forest, and one of the oldest in Lake County. With a Catholic presence dating to the 1830s, it was one of the earliest parishes established in the Chicago archdiocese.
National Eucharistic Revival kicks off in the archdiocese In 2019, a study by the Pew Research Center reported that only a third of Catholics believe the Eucharist is really the Body and Blood of Christ.
