Shrine hosts annual Guadalupe Day

The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Des Plaines hosts its fifth-annual "Guadalupe en Verano" or “Guadalupe Summer Celebration” on Aug. 17, 2019. The summer celebration is an opportunity to welcome the faithful who cannot attend the Dec. 12th feast day because of crowds or weather. The day featured retreats, entertainment, food and Mass.
