An anonymous donor has made it possible for St. Theresa School, Palatine, to start its Vision for the Future curriculum enhancements and additional staffing this month. A new science specialist will come on board teach students in third, fourth and fifth grades. Next fall, the school will add Spanish to its kindergarten through fifth grade curriculum and hire addition staff to accommodate growing enrollment. At the same time, the first phase of the school’s $3.6 million renovation is nearly complete. It includes two new science labs, new kindergarten classrooms, a new music room and multipurpose space. The second phase will start in early spring.
