Grace O’Malley: My idea of happiness is heaven. When you pass those golden gates and meet up with your loved ones that passed away on earth, it will be amazing. I can picture seeing Grandpa Michael coming to give me a hug. He would be standing, not in a wheelchair as I’ve seen him in the past. Happiness is also having a nice house, family, bed, clothes, friends and go to an amazing Blue Ribbon school. It is awesome to have such amazing friends here at St. Mary School. Everyone is nice here. That is happiness to me.

Shannon Godsell: Happiness is love. Love is happiness. It’s the same forwards and backwards. Happiness is an emotion that can’t be described in words. Happiness is actions. An action of happiness is complimenting someone or visiting people who are sick. Happiness is also a feeling. It’s the thrill of trying something new, going to new places, meeting new people, and most importantly, being around everyone you love and God. God gives all of us the power to be happy. Happiness is a way of life.

Lauren Jenkins: Happiness is waking up and knowing that you are free from sin; happiness is the love that God gives us; happiness is being forgiven; happiness is the people you love that God created; happiness is the joy we have because God has done great things for us; happiness is … God!!

Lucy Bullock: Happiness is being with your family every day. It’s looking at all of God’s beautiful creation but finally it’s dreaming about how phenomenal heaven will be.

William Kim: The word happiness means living with God in heaven forever, joyfully, living with my family without any punishment or worries. Also happiness is beautiful word.

Marissa Sullivan, 14: Happiness is enjoying life and feeling like everything is right for a while. It happens when everyone is nice to each other and we are all getting along and having a good time. I felt happiness last Saturday when I spent the day with my mom’s side of the family.

Jack Ruddy, 12: Happiness is a goof feeling inside when someone does something nice for me. For example, at lunch my friend made a joke and it made me laugh and that feeling of laughing is what happiness was to me.

Savannah Sullivan, 10: Happiness is when your smiling and someone is feeling good about something; like when someone makes me feel good about myself or says I’m pretty or smart I feel happy.

Molly Biscan, 7: Happiness is the best feeling because you can start to feel it first in your smile and then other people smile and you know that there is happiness. I am happy at school because my friends are with me and we can be together all day.

Sophia Zubek, 5: Happiness is when someone is nice to me and it makes me feel good and kind of excited inside. I feel happy with my mommy and daddy and my funny brother Joey.

Jonathan Koziel, 4: Happiness is when I’m with my mom and dad and even my brother Micheal because I know they love me all the time. I can feel it when they give me hugs.
