Congratulations, and thanks

By Catholic New World
Sunday, April 11, 2010

The women and men recognized on the following pages have dedicated their lives to ministering to the people of God, educating generations of Catholic children, serving in hospitals and nursing homes and staffing parishes in cities and rural areas throughout the United States. Several have traveled further afield, taking the Word of God around the world as missionaries.

This is the first of two annual special issues of the Catholic New World that honors religious men and women – sisters, brothers and priests belonging to religious congregations – celebrating special anniversaries. This issue focuses on those who have served for 60 or more years. In October, another issue will focus on those celebrating anniversaries of 25 and 50 years. Please join the staff of the Catholic New World in congratulating – and thanking – our jubilarians
