19 men ordained permanent deacons
Cardinal Cupich ordained 19 men to the permanent diaconate during Mass at Holy Name Cathedral May 12, 2018. The newly ordained English and Spanish-speaking deacons will be assigned to their home parishes, which this year includes parishes in: Arlington Heights, Berwyn, Brookfield, Chicago, Cicero, Des Plaines, Glenview, Grayslake, Ingleside, Oak Forest and Orland Park.
