Parish where bishop lived holds Masses in his honor

Father Jose Maria García Maldonado, pastor, was the main presider as parishioners at San José Sánchez del Río had three days of prayer, beginning with a memorial Mass, on July 18, 2023 at the St. Philomena Worship site for the passing of Bishop John Manz. Services were also held at the St. Francis and Maternity BVM worship sites the following two days giving the community a space to grieve for the passing of the bishop.
