Honoring expectant mothers

Auxiliary Bishop Robert J. Lombardo was the main celebrant and homilist at the 10th annual Mother’s Day Mass in Spanish at St. Joseph Church at St. Oscar Romero Parish, 4821 S. Hermitage Ave., on May 14, 2023. The bishop gave a special blessing to all mothers including expectant mothers and their unborn children. Expectant mothers also received a silk rose, as well as a prayer card and medal of St. Gerard, the patron saint of expectant mothers during the Mass.
