The Archdiocese of Chicago announced on Dec. 13 an update on the Frassati-Lake Zurich Renew My Church grouping, which includes: St. Francis de Sales parish and school, Lake Zurich; Santa Maria del Popolo Parish, Mundelein; St. Mary of the Annunciation Parish, Mundelein; Transfiguration Parish, Wauconda; and Frassati Catholic Academy, Wauconda. All four parishes will remain in their current structure. There will be no structural changes to Frassati Catholic Academy or St. Francis de Sales School as a result of the grouping discernment process. St. Mary of the Annunciation, Santa Maria del Popolo and Transfiguration Parishes remain committed to supporting Frassati Catholic Academy. Over the next few months, all parishes in this grouping will embark on the next phase of renewal to become stronger, more sustainable and capable of reaching out in their work of making disciples of Jesus Christ, building communities and inspiring witness.
