Retired Chicago Bears defensive end Israel Idonije joined former Chicago Bears and Pro Bowl defensive end Adewale Ogunleye as he hosted his Goal Power Foundation Thanksgiving event at St. Malachy. As part of his foundation’s program, Ogunleye provided students in the after-school program and their families with Thanksgiving turkeys. In addition to the turkeys, some of the students were honored during the assembly with gift cards for their families as part of a Thanksgiving essay contest. Goal Power Foundation has provided over 400 Thanksgiving turkeys to St. Malachy School over the past three years.
