Students in Caring Hearts’ Club at St. George School in Tinley Park decorated birthday cards and wrote cheerful notes for the residents of Autumn Leaves Assisted Living in Orland Park.

Each resident will be delighted to receive at least three special cards on his or her birthday. About 75 students, grades kindergarten through eighth, are in the Caring Hearts' Club, which meets monthly to create messages of joy to soldiers, children in hospitals, and residents in two nursing care facilities.

Twice a year we take a "Smile Bus Trip" to perform at the nursing facilities. We are so proud of our loving children who continue to give from their caring hearts.
