Knights of Columbus Holy Ghost Council 4977 After much work and multiple fund raising events the council successfully completed their original goal of raising funds to donate an Ultrasound machine to Aid for Women, it was decided to proceed to step two and repeat our efforts to procure a second machine. Thanks again to bake sales, a special Lenten Fish Fry raffle, and the largest event held was a Pasta Palooza. Which was a full sit down meal, a 50/50 split the pot raffle and prize raffles of items donated by local businesses, companies and fellow Knights. In this second effort Holy Ghost Council worked with St. Liborius Council 14562 and Holy Family Council 11981. Thanks to the efforts of these councils, the goal was reached at an accelerated rate. Due to technology advancements and the needs of the Aid for Women organization, the Holy Ghost Council was able to procure 2 Ultrasound machines. With the huge accomplishment of raising funds for 3 machines in 4 years they are looking forward to see if they can start any campaign to continue to help spread Pro-Life values and save babies.
