Tribunal administrator appointed

Cardinal George has appointed Dominican Sister Christine Marie Kub JCL as administrator of the Metropolitan Tribunal of the Archdiocese of Chicago.

Sister Christine will take over the daily administration of the tribunal on Jan. 1 while Father Michael Hack, judicial vicar, begins his six-month sabbatical.

Sister Christine is a member of the Dominican Sisters of Springfield, Ill. She received her licentiate in canon law in 1999 from the University of Saint Paul, Ottawa, Canada.

Sister Christine has held a number of leadership positions in her community and is currently a judge on the Metropolitan Tribunal. She grew up in the Mount Greenwood section of the city and she and her family were members of St. Christina Parish.
