God knows
Did you ever have a day where you had everything lined up just right? Kids up and out the door on schedule, dog walked, breakfast eaten, lunch packed? A busy schedule, but one with enough time to get from point A to point B, and maybe a little extra to stop for the pick-up order at Target? Great, right?

Habit forming
I slept later than I meant to today, and when I did get up, I was facing a full slate of Things That Must Be Done.

Something new
Our crocuses bloomed really early this year. In February, if you can believe it. Well, Feb. 29, so in most years it would have been March.

The places in between
It might be a guilty secret, but I love waiting. Maybe not so much waiting in line, where I have to stand up and pay attention to the people around me so as to keep the line moving, but waiting in a doctor’s office — so long as I’m not there for anything especially scary — or in an airport or train station or, when my kids have had various activities, in the lobby of an ice rink or pool complex or in my car out in the parking lot.
