Field Museum staff help parish promote native life, plants in garden
Parishioners, parents and youth from Our Lady of Snows Parish, 4810 S. Leamington Ave., came together to plant spring bulbs, weed and install official signs to designate their Seeds of Hope garden and official “Laudato Si’” garden on Sept. 25, 2021. Staff from the Field Museum is helping the parish cultivate native plants and foster a good environment for butterflies and other pollinators. (Karen Callaway/Chicago Catholic)
