Hermana Glenda, an internationally renowned Catholic singer-songwriter, performed a benefit concert at St. Michael Parish in Orland Park on May 19, 2018. Glenda is member of the Order of Consecrated Virgins and was born in Parral, Chile. Her musical career began in 1998 with a CD titled, “A solas con Dios” or “Alone with God.” She first gained international recognition at World Youth Day 2002 in Toronto, where she sang “Nada es imposible para Ti” before Pope John Paul II and hundreds of thousands of participants during the closing Mass.
