Cardinal Cupich celebrated a Mass for 100th anniversary of Mother Cabrini’s death at National Shrine of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini in Chicago on Dec. 10. Priests concelebrating were Father Richard Fragomeni from the Shrine of Our Lady of Pompeii and Father Paul Seaman from St. Clement. The Mass was part of a year-long celebration of Mother Cabrini at the shrine that culminated with the Chicago City Council declaring Dec. 22, the actual day of her death, Mother Cabrini Day.
