Guadalupe in the Summer

Hundreds of people participated in a special Mass at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Des Plaines on Aug. 19, 2017. The Mass was to celebrate the third annual "Guadalupe en Verano" or "Guadalupe in the summer," mirroring the events at the shrine on Our Lady's feast day on Dec 12. The event was dedicated to all the Grupos Guadalupanos from parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Chicago.
