St. Josephine Bakhita Parish celebrates its patron

Parishioners of the newly formed St. Josephine Bakhita Parish celebrated their patron's feast day on Feb. 6, 2022, at St. Philip Neri Church, 2132 E. 72nd St. Josephine Margaret Bakhita was a Sudanese-Italian Canossian religious sister who lived in Italy for 45 years, after having been a slave in Sudan.
