The Academy of St. Benedict the African in Englewood received a donation of $48,000 worth of supplies and resources from Enchanted Backpack on Feb. 28, 2019. The donation will go toward a “shopping day” for the 2019-2020 school year for students who can’t afford to purchase supplies, among other projects.

The Dorothy C. and Edward A. Brennan Scholarship, named for Brennan’s parents, will be awarded to Catholic school students from families with three or more children.
