Mount Carmel students embrace St. Baldrick’s mission during pandemic
Mount Carmel High School, 6410 S. Dante Ave., has a long history of participating in the annual St. Baldrick’s Foundation head-shaving fundraisers each March, but had to cancel last year’s in-person celebration because of the pandemic.
St. Barnabas School raises money for cancer research in alum’s honor
The energy inside St. Barnabas School’s gym was palpable the morning of March 6 as the community came together to support pediatric cancer research and to remember a former student who lost his life to the disease.
