Driveway Masses offer opportunity for evangelization in Tinley Park

On the hot, sunny morning of July 13, about a dozen people from St. Julie Billiart Parish in Tinley Park gathered on the driveway at a parishioner’s home for Mass. It is part of an effort, now in its third year, in which parishioners host Masses in their driveways each Saturday from June through August as a tool for evangelization.

Southwestern suburban parishes hold annual house build

More than 200 volunteers from seven Southwest suburban parishes gathered at Incarnation/St. Terrence Parish in Alsip to build framing walls for two houses on June 21 and 22, 2024 that will benefit Habitat for Humanity’s chapter in Benton Harbor, Michigan The seven parishes have worked collaboratively to raise more than $20,000 for the housing project through donations.
