Essay contest for seniors in Catholic high schools

2013 Essay Contest Fact Sheet

Seniors at Catholic high schools in the Archdiocese of Chicago are invited to write an essay of no more than 600 words answering the question: "Where do I find God in my life? How do I share God with others?" for a contest sponsored by the Office for Catholic Schools, in partnership with the Catholic New World.

The first-place prize is $1,000, second place is $500 and third place is $300. The winning essay will be published in a May issue of the paper, and all three winners will receive a one-year subscription to the Catholic New World.

All essays must be received by the Catholic New World no later than April 1. Winners will be notified in writing no later than May 1. Entries should include the student's name, address, email address, contact phone number and school name.
